I Say NO TO RH BILL

The recent proposal of RH bill has become one the most controversial issues that caught the attention of Filipinos. Religious communities tend to become so strong on their stand in opposition to the approval of RH Bill. On the other hand, the Pro-RH Bill also continued to encourage people to agree on it because as they said it helps Filipinos to become responsible parents. Hence, a lot of information campaign has been done by those who supported and opposed the said bill.

People tend to get confused on what to believe in. What is right and wrong tend to become vague especially on the part of the less fortunate people. Overpopulation and poverty are few of the reasons used to persuade people to agree with the approval of RH Bill.

As for me, there are points in which I could agree to what the RH Bill had stipulated. However, there are distinct parts that should be further studied and that the religious and government sectors have to agree on. The consideration of contraceptives as essential medicines appeared to me as approving something immoral, because it can be used as a ticket to do everything lustful. Although, my argument seemed to be very simple yet I think the Bill cannot solve the problem which the pro thought it would.

So, I say NO to RH Bill.
